Τα Nomadland, Soul και Promising Young Woman σημείωσαν τις περισσότερες νίκες.
Τα BAFTA awards ολοκληρώθηκαν για ακόμα μία χρονιά και ανάμεσα στους μεγάλους νικητές βρέθηκε το Nomadland, το Soul της Pixar και το Promising Young Woman. Τα βραβεία BAFTA λειτουργούν μερικές φορές ως ενδεικτικά για τους πιθανούς νικητές των Οσκαρ, τα οποία θα απονεμηθούν μέσα στον Απρίλιο.
Η δραματική ταινία Nomadland κέρδισε τα περισσότερα βραβεία, καθώς στέφθηκε νικήτρια σε τέσσερις από τις επτά κατηγορίες στις οποίες ήταν προτεινόμενη. Το Nomadland διέπρεψε στις κατηγορίες Best Film, Best Actress για την Frances McDormand, Best Director για την Chloe Zhao και τέλος κέρδισε και στην κατηγορία Best Cinematography. Το Soul πήρε το βραβείο Best Animated Film και Best Original Score ενώ το Promising Young Woman βραβεύτηκε στην στις κατηγορίες Outstanding British Film και Best Original Screenplay.
Πέραν των προαναφερθέντων υπήρξαν και άλλοι νικητές στην βραδιά, όπως ο Anthony Hopkins ως Best Actor για την ερμηνεία του στο The Father, ο Daniel Kaluuya ως Best Supporting Actor για την ερμηνεία του στο Judas and the Black Messiah και η Youn Yuh-jung ως Best Supporting Actress για την ερμηνεία της στο Minari. Επιπροσθέτως το η ταινία τρόμου His House του Remi Weekes απέσπασε το βραβείο Outstanding Debut by a British Writer, Director or Producer ενώ ο το Tenet του Christopher Nolan κέρδισε το βραβείο Special Visual Effects.
